As the only club this side of the GTA, our club attracts a wide range of guests and members, from 19-50+, with the majority falling in the 30-45 range. Samantha's Place is the perfect club for couples who are curious about swinging and want to try a club out. Our club is off-premise, which means that there is no sex or genital nudity at the club. Samantha's Place is an upscale club for open-minded couples and single women to meet, flirt and dance in a sexually charged environment. If you're considering coming to Samantha's Place but are a little nervous about what to expect, take a look at the information below. At each of our events at least 1/4 of the guests are there for the first time - you won't be the only one!

Will there be other new people at the event?
While we have a large number of couples and some single women who regularly attend our events, we also have quite a few new couples and single women at every one of our events.  In most cases these new couples are not only attending Samantha's Place for the first time, it is also their first time coming to a swing club.  Most people are at least a little bit nervous on their first visit, as they aren't sure what to expect.  For those of you who are interested in attending one of our events and are not sure what to expect we hope that the following information will help you feel more comfortable.

What happens after we register?
Click here to register.  The only personal information we ask for is an email address.  This information is held in confidence and only Todd and I (Skye) see it, we never share it.  Once you've emailed us your request to register we'll send you a confirmation email.  If you don't see the email reply in your inbox within a few hours please check your junk mail folder and if necessary email us again.

How should we dress?
Each of our events has a theme with suggested sexy attire.  Dressing in theme is always optional and guests dress in theme to varying degrees depending on the theme - at least 90% of guests dress up for Halloween, while for other events the percentage of those who dress in theme is significantly less.  We always request that guests dress to impress.  When they don't dress in theme, most of the women wear a sexy dress or a skirt and nice top and the men usually wear a button-down shirt or golf shirt with a nice pair of jeans or dress pants.

What happens when we arrive?
There will be a sign on the door that says "Private Party - registered guests only," our sign simply states that it is a private function, there is nothing to distinguish the event as a swing club event.  When you arrive Todd or Skye will give you a wrist band when you pay and then you're free to enjoy the evening.  If it's your first time at an event please let us know so that we can explain the door prize draw and point out where things are.  Todd and I are available throughout the evening if you have any questions or concerns.

What time do most people arrive and what happens throughout the evening?
The doors open at 9pm and we we ask that everyone try to arrive by 11pm, if you expect to be arriving after 11pm just let us know so that we know to expect you a bit later.  The majority of guest get there between 9:00 and 10:30pm.  Early in the evening we have a "Meet and Greet" atmosphere, with quieter music  for those who would like to start off the evening in a quieter atmosphere more conducive to chatting.  We'll turn up the music for dancing as the night goes on.  Drinks are available to order throughout the evening.  There are no club associated after-parties but some people do chose to continue the party elsewhere after the club closes, these are by invitation only from the hosts and are in no way associated with Samantha's Place.

What suggestions do you have to help us meet others?
Our guests are friendly and welcoming, while being respectful of not overstepping any boundaries.  As a result it may be easier to meet others if you approach them first.  A good casual place to get chatting with others is on or near the dance floor or in the area around the bar, while people are waiting to order drinks. 

Are there any door prizes?
Yes, each of our events is sponsored by an adult store which supplies assorted gift bags for us to give out at our events around midnight.  Usually we do this in the form of a draw by giving each couple or single lady a door prize ticket at the door but for certain events the gift bags go to the winner(s) at the event (ie: most beads collected at Mardi Gras or best costumes at Halloween).  We also often have extra prizes for dancing in a certain place on the dance floor or dancing behind the shadow dancing screen when a specific song plays, ask us for details when you arrive.
